Binky Felstead was left shocked on Sunday after her son Wolfie was rushed to hospital due to an allergic reaction.

The 32-year-old explained that she felt ‘so many emotions’ after the scary order, as she praised the NHS staff who helped out all day.

But she took to Instagram to reassure fans, explaining that 12-month-old Wolfie, who she shares with husband Max Darnton, is now safe and sound – as they remain in the hospital just in case.

A photo in which she shared a carousel of photos with her 1.4 million followers, and one photo showed the former Made In Chelsea star lying on a stretcher with her son, while the pair were surrounded by paramedics.

Another showed the toddler cuddling a teddy bear he got from the hospital for being “so brave” as his face appeared swollen after the reaction.

The reaction is said to have come from sesame that Wolfie ate in hummus for lunch, which left him itchy and blotchy.

But luckily the ambulance arrived immediately after Binky’s call to 999 – as the star sang the praises of the NHS service.

Binky wrote a lengthy caption explaining the situation to followers: “Wolfie is rushed away in an ambulance after a bad reaction to what we believe is the sesame in the hummus he had for lunch. Very soon he started to feel incredibly uncomfortable and was constantly rubbing his face and getting upset. He turned bright red all over his face and hands and small white spots appeared shortly before his eye, lips and tongue began to swell.

‘We immediately left the restaurant and drove to the nearest pharmacist who said to call 999…which we did and these incredible paramedics arrived within 4 minutes! All very scary, they said he had an anaphylaxis shock and gave Wolfie a little adrenaline rush. They were afraid he couldn’t breathe, so turned on the sirens, drove pretty fast and we had our first experience in an ambulance!

“Wolf’s face thankfully began to calm down and he loved the sounds and all the exciting things dangling in the ambulance. He also got to keep a bear because he was so brave.’

Admitting that she is now going to get an allergy test for Wolfie, Binky continued to explain the top-notch service she received at the hospital.

Continuing in the caption: ‘We got to a hospital in Gloucestershire 40 minutes down the road, which was also great. They kept us all calm, explained a lot and we just got fired after watching him closely for 5 hours. We left with two epi-pens and loads of info. The first thing on my to-do list for next week is taking Wolfie to a skin/allergy specialist! WOAH – so many emotions again.
