Love Island fans were left stunned Adam Collard insisted that he is a ‘relationship person’ on his return to the villa.

We’ve all watched series four, right?!

The star, who last showed up in the villa in 2018, made his sensational return on Monday night and got stuck right away when he got to know it Paige ThorneDanica Taylorand the reigning queen of chaos, Ekin-Su Culculoglu.

When he arrived to the surprise of the girls, who wondered if he was a lookalike, Adam confirmed, “I’ve done this before.”

Explaining that he wants someone who is “a little sassy,” Adam further stated, “I’m a relationship person.”

He added that he has nothing bad to say about his exes, the relationships just didn’t work out.

Of course, fans who saw Adam in series four were a little confused after seeing him get together with Kendall Rae-Knight, Rosie Williams, Zara McDermott. and Darylle Sargeant – before going back to Zara outside the villa.

“I’m a relationship person” adam doesn’t wear me,” one said, while another added, “Adam is anything but a relationship person.”

‘Adam is lying about I’m a relationship person, we saw you in 4K,’ another said, while another said: ‘I’m a relationship person’ Adam dear don’t you remember how you acted in series 4…?’

Adam and Zara were together for eight months after they left the villa in 2018. He was more recently linked to Towie’s Demi Sims.

Amid Adam’s explosive return, Women’s Aid has issued a warning to ITV following the stint of the bomb in the villa in 2018.

Teresa Parker, head of communications and media relations, said: “In Love Island’s 2018 series, we saw Rosie rightly call out Adam for his unacceptable behavior, including gaslighting and emotional abuse.

“We hope ITV understand how serious this problem is and learn lessons from it as they have asked Adam to return to the show.”

Parker added: “Love Island is watched by a lot of young people and we know what a huge influence it has.

“Producers need to ensure there is support for participants everywhere, and intervene when relationships become unhealthy or abusive.”

ITV has an extensive list of duty of care protocols while welfare services offered to islanders include comprehensive psychological support, detailed conversations with islanders about the impact of participating in the show, a proactive aftercare package that provides support to all islanders after their participation in the show, and guidance and advice on taking over management after the show show.

A wellness team is also solely dedicated to the islanders, both during the show and afterwards.

Adam, 26, dubbed the “ultimate bomb,” said of his return: “I’m going to tangle some feathers when I go in.”

Only time will tell whose head will be turned.

Love Island returns on ITV2 on Tuesday at 9pm.
