ONE influencer took her audience on a Walmart shopping trip and then showed off her outfits to inspire other plus-size women.
In a video titled “Plus Size Walmart Try-On Haul,” influencer Danielle LaShawn explains that the goal of her video is to help women with the same or similar body type.

Before starting the Walmart trek, LaShawn explains that she’s also on a fitness journey, still hugging and making sure she’s comfortable with the body she’s “currently living” in.
“Basically, I’m just reshaping the way my body looks,” she explained.
“That certainly had a huge impact on my quest for clothes that fit my body as it is.
“Again, we need to dress the body we live in now. We need to feel comfortable and confident in this body we are in right now.”
LaShawn purchased the following items during her trip to Walmart: Madden NYC Pink Woven Top; Madden NYC floral top; No Limits Tank Dress; No borders with ruffles at the front.
She also picked up: No Boundaries puff sleeve top; No Boundaries high-waisted cropped jeans; Free fitting crop T-shirt; Free Fitting Sweat Shorts; shapewear.
The No Boundaries ruffle top was her “favorite shirt of the whole series” because she feels it hugged her body just right and flattered all the right things.
While she loved almost every item and could offer different ways to style each item, LaShawn admitted that Madden NYC’s garments were a little too short for her taste.
“It was just a little too short for me,” she said of the pink woven top.
LaShawn said she had high hopes for the dress, but didn’t care about it with or without shapewear.
“And I felt uncomfortable just because I don’t feel like I’m in a place where I feel like I’m going to exhaust my whole stomach right now. That’s just not where I am.”
As for the No Boundaries tank dress, LaShawn was not a fan.
The influencer said that with shapewear, the dress still didn’t hug her body the way she wanted and there was too much fabric.
“This is one you should try for yourself and see how you feel about it,” she said.
She added: “So yeah, I guess you just have to play it by ear a little bit. This one wasn’t necessarily my favorite, but you might love it.”
