She added that we are “literally on a floating rock” so “nothing matters” and people should be able to “do whatever they want that makes them happy.”

‘This is us. We’re on a floating rock, okay?! This is us on a floating rock, and we literally go all year round like this with all the other floating rocks.

“And I live in the south, and it’s a very interesting place. It’s a place where people don’t always have their teeth, but they seem to place a lot of value on razors,” she continued.

“I raise my arm to pay, it’s like the whole place is like, ‘Oh my god!'”

“And you don’t even have teeth. Why are you concerned about using a razor? No offense – if you don’t have teeth, that’s okay. But you shouldn’t be apprehensive about someone’s armpit hair.’

She also explained that she “don’t want to shave a part of her body that bends” because “three hours later hair grows back and starts to scratch,” comparing it to “making sandpaper.”

Speak with BuzzFeedJada said she stopped shaving in 2019 after growing up singing and dancing competitions, which meant she had to be clean-shaven at all times.

“I always had to be ready for the podium. During this time, I really tried to get to know myself and find out what I liked. But without the opinions of the others weighing me down, I started to feel free,” she explained.

She added that she made the TikTok out of “the sheer desire to let all my feelings run free” and to “make a joke” of all the people who ill-intentioned her.
