Kevin Nash Revealed Scott Hall Slipped on Ice Cubes and Broken His Hip before he had three fatal heart attacks†
Late WWE Hall of Famer died in March at age 63 after being taken off a ventilator after complications from hip replacement surgery, and now his good friend has embarked on the legendary star’s heartbreaking final days.
On his podcast Kliq This, he said: “He was making Kool-Aid, he put the plastic pitcher in the fridge and ice went in, but a few bits of ice came out and landed on the floor.
He went over and stirred it, I’m sure it was Crystal Light as he ate pretty clean, he went back to get something and one of the chunks of ice grabbed his heel. He did the “whoopsie daisy”, landed and broke his other hip.
“He’s in the middle of his kitchen, in so much pain that he can’t move. He tries to move several times, but fails, and finally he faints. He wakes up and now it is night. He has no idea.’
At that point, Hall was between his recliner—where his phone was—and the Kool-Aid, and passed out again before waking up “so dehydrated.”
Nash continued, “He has the pacemaker in his heart and he says, ‘I’m going to croak if I don’t get fluids.’
“He turned, took it out, stood with his back to the cupboard, picked up the pitcher of Kool-Aid and drank it sip by sip through the spout. He was able to drag himself and called 911.”
Hall’s former nWo teammate said his late friend had no medical insurance but had to “get the hip repaired.”
“He had other problems and other problems. They did CT scans and he had some kind of perforation in his gut,” he added. “I spoke to him on the phone a few times. I spoke to him every day he was in the hospital.”
Nash revealed the devastating phone call he received days later.
He said, ‘I got a call on Sunday morning and it was Paul [Levesque, Triple H], and he said, ‘Scott had three heart attacks and it didn’t look good.’ I tried to get a flight to Atlanta, but I couldn’t. Went back to Daytona Beach, couldn’t get a flight there.
“At that point they said they would pull the plug and the doctor said it might be ten minutes before he was alive. Before they pulled the plug, all Kliq guys have speaker phonetalking to him, crying is really all we did.’
Hall would live another seven hours before his tragic death.
