Elon Muskis much discussed tiff with Donald Trump continued in full force this week – with the Tesla CEO takes this time to Twitter to question the ex-president’s credibility and brainpower.
The online barrage of Musk — who last week withdrew from a $44 billion deal to buy the social media platform — saw outspoken moguls berating Trump as a liar and “too old” to run for president.
The claims came in the wake of a recent appearance by the politician – who has repeatedly hinted at a second presidential run in 2024 – who saw him mocked. Musk by calling him a ‘Bull***t artist’.
The insult followed a Trump claim that Musk lied about voting for him during his ill-fated presidential run in 2020.
The accusation referred to a Tweet from Musk last month, in which the South African businessman first bragged about voting a Republican and casting a vote for new Texas Congresswoman Maya Flores.
Trump appeared to disagree with the endorsement, accusing Musk of lying about his political allegiance during Saturday’s event in Alaska.

Elon Musk’s much-discussed feud with Donald Trump went full steam ahead this week — with Tesla’s CEO taking to Twitter to question the ex-president’s credibility and brainpower
The claims came in the wake of a recent appearance by Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, Saturday, which saw him mock Musk by calling him a bBull***t artist.
“You know he said the other day, ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said, “I didn’t know that. He told me he voted for me,” Trump, 76, said at his meeting in Alaska, talking about Musk’s Twitter deal falling through.
“So he’s another bulls*** artist,” the former president added.
Musk promptly responded to a post sharing the clip — along with an article titled “Donald Trump: Elon Musk Told Me He Voted for Me” — to make his own bulls**t on the president’s claim.
“Not true,” Musk wrote back in an unusually succinct blow.
Musk also denied Trump’s claim that he voted for him in the last election with a simple ‘False’
The SpaceX CEO continued to pan the politician, saying he should “hang up his hat” and retire from his political career, due to his advanced age.
“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat and sail into the sunset,” Musk wrote to his more than 100 million followers.
“Dems should also call off the attack,” he added, citing currently ongoing public hearings about the January 6 riots by a violent mob of Trump supporters — an event the left has tried to pin down the former president.
“Don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to win back the presidency,” Musk warned.
When a Twitter user questioned which of Trump’s policies Musk disagreed with, the mogul instead pointed to the infamous no-nonsense — and sometimes downright brutal — approach to politics, which he says creates “too much drama.”
The richest man in the world responded to several tweets on the subject, saying Trump’s presidency had “too much drama” and was akin to a “bull in a china shop”
“Yeah, but too much drama,” Musk wrote in response to the user’s question. ‘Do we really want a bull in a china shop every day!?’
Musk then returned to the topic of the president’s age.
“In addition, I think the legal maximum age for the start of the presidential term should be 69,” Musk wrote before addressing the issue.
“Trump would be 82 at the end of term, which is too old to be CEO of anything, let alone the United States of America.”
He added: “If DeSantis takes on Biden in 2024, DeSantis will easily win — he won’t even have to campaign.”
Through the many posts, Musk also agreed with another Twitter user that the world has a “serious problem with gerontocracy” — meaning the government is controlled by old people.
The South African billionaire was critical of presidents being too old, saying Trump at age 82 would be “too old to be CEO of anything”
Musk, who now lives in Texas, said he first voted Republican in the June special election when he cast his vote for Flores in her bid for the 34th congressional seat against Democrat Dan Sanchez.
“I voted for Mayra Flores — the first time I’ve ever voted Republican,” Musk tweeted on June 15. Massive red wave in 2022.’
When a Twitter account called Tesla Owners Silicon Valley asked Musk if he voted Republican in the 2024 presidential election, the Tesla CEO “not yet answered.”
Trump has not yet responded to Musk’s comments.
At the Anchorage meeting, the politician accused Musk of backing out of his promised takeover of Twitter, which has been under discussion since April, but was shut down over the mogul’s reported concerns about fake accounts on the platform.
Trump, who was kicked off the site over tweets allegedly urging his supporters to protest the 2020 election during the January 6 riots, seemed unconvinced by that story.
‘Elon. Elon,” Trump repeated to loud applause. ‘He’s not going to buy Twitter’
Trump then encouraged attendees to instead use his own social media platform, Truth Social, which he founded after booting from the platform last year.
