Billy Joel will give his first stadium show in New Zealand in 25 years, when he returns on December 3 for a landmark performance at Auckland’s Eden Park.

Tickets go on sale on July 21.

The singer-songwriter and pianist behind classics such as Piano Man, We Didn’t Start the Fire and Uptown Girl remains one of the biggest concert draws in the world since releasing his first album The Stranger in 1977.

With more than 160 million records sold and six Grammy Award wins from 23 nominations, Joel is one of the most popular and respected entertainers in history – the sixth biggest selling artist of all time and the third biggest selling solo artist.
