Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has not been welcomed so warmly on Coronation Street.
Audrey (Sue Nicholls) was naturally thrilled to see him, but Stephen’s involvement with the family has led to huge fights over money and wills.
David (Jack P Shepherd) thinks Stephen in charge of Audrey’s money is a terrible idea, and thinks the family should think about the younger members and divide it fairly.
Tonight, Gail (Helen Worth) has gathered the family to give Stephen a good welcome.
As expected, it quickly fell into chaos.
When Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and David started bickering, Audrey was unwilling to hang out and left, while Stephen was aware that he was having a huge impact on the family dynamic.
Stephen made the decision that he had to go back to Milan, which really upset Audrey.
David couldn’t hide his joy when he learned that his uncle had left, but Sarah and Shona (Julia Goulding) realized that Stephen’s departure will make Audrey very unhappy.
We know the time away from the cobblestones won’t be long for Stephen, when Todd is spotted filming scenes for the soap outside a charity shop.
At this point, we’re not sure what Stephen is up to, but is he completely honest about the state of his business?
Has he secretly lost everything?
