Penny Mordaunt is sending the internet into a frenzy, and it’s all thanks to a resurfaced clip of her belly flop on Splash!.

The politician, currently one of the frontrunners in the race to become the next prime ministerappeared on the short-lived ITV competition show in 2014, the same series in which Gemma Collins said her prayers as she went to the diving board in a black bathing suit dress.

The appearance of Mrs. Mordaunt on Splash! turned out to be nothing short of entertaining, with the throwback video showing her mess up a difficult dive, hitting the water box first.

Dressed in a red swimsuit, Mrs. Mordaunt looked confident as she prepared to take the plunge.

But seconds later, the possible future prime minister awkwardly hit the pool.

Judge Jo Brand appeared unimpressed by the politician’s execution in an extensive piece of footage shared on YouTube.
