Texas officials have sued the Biden administration to challenge its recent guidelines requiring doctors to perform abortions in medical emergencies.

Attorney General Ken Paxton argued in the lawsuit filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas that federal law does not grant the right to abortion.
