FULL of promise. Has winning form at this level in Dubai and was not disgraced in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot. This 6f trip fits much better and he may have needed that first British run of the campaign. Opportunity.
diligent HARRY 3
HURRY Harry. Was a close second in this 12 months ago but still hasn’t won on grass. He thought the Group 1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes was too hot last time, but this is easier. Has low miles on the odometer so could improve.

Not good. He finished last in the Platinum Jubilee at Royal Ascot on his season return and has yet to score above the tier on the list. Saves the best for this trip but needs more in this business.
METHOD 1
METHOD madness. Has a listed win on course and distance on his resume, but hasn’t won in two years. Solid effort in warm company at Sandown last time but needs one more step forward.
MESSAGE 3
MINUTE the hunt. Lightly raced but does well when it gets on track, with a Group 2 win on this trip. The choice of shape has gotten good or softer, which is a concern, but his best shape brings him close.
ROHAN 3
RO can go. Plucked across the field to win the Wokingham for the second year in a row last time. He has fallen short at this level before, but is in top form and best in fast terrain.

Holy sinner. Has mostly raced 5f lately and was recently a close sixth in the Group 1 King’s Stand at Royal Ascot. He is doing well here, but the journey is a concern.
GO BEARS GO 4
Go for it. Won at Ascot the last time he ran in this class and has held out in stronger company twice since. Fast ground suits and it looks like a great price to make the frame if it comes close to its best.
CHILD CHILD 4
CHIL looks good. Did well last season, winning at this level before finishing with a close-up third in the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock. She loves this trip and fast ground is no problem. Solid place is claiming back from 10 months off.
HAPPY ROMANCE 5
Happy ending. She won this last year and she thrives on racing so her solid Group 1 effort in the July Cup last weekend bodes well. We know trip and ground are ideal and she can keep her crown on this drop in class.
DUBAWI LEGEND 2
LEGEND a myth. He only had six runs but a close second in a Group 1 over 7f on the Rowley Course last season was the highlight. Wrestled in the 2000 Guineas and again at Royal Ascot so has a few questions to answer.
SAM MAXIMUS 1
MAX no factor. Didn’t make its debut last summer and found a Royal Ascot Group 1 way too warm last time. This convenience in the classroom will help with a trip that fits, but he needs more.

HAPPY ROMANCE can keep her Hackwood Stakes crown.
She held her own in the Group 1 July Cup in Newmarket last week and has a good record if she proved to be fast.
Man Of Promise showed up well at Royal Ascot and will be happier on this journey.
He is a threat to Go Bears Go and Chil Chil, who both seem like a big prize to make the frame.
