A 27-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the… death of two people in Glendene, West Auckland on Friday.
stuff understands that the couple is a father and a daughter.
Detective Inspector John Sutton of the Waitematā CIB confirmed that the man, who also lives in West Auckland, was known to the victims.
He is facing two murders and will appear in Waitakere court on Saturday.

Sutton said police were not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
On Friday, police said they were responding to an incident in Glendene after reports of gunfire at a house.
When police arrived, two people were found dead.
A resident of Barrys Rd said her husband witnessed the shooting.
“He heard the gunshot, then the woman screaming, and then they left in a car.
“It’s terrible. He’ll be hearing those screams for a while,” she said.
Another resident said the road has been closed and armed police are on the street.
Sutton said the police investigation is continuing, including the investigation of the site, and locals would see an increased police presence in the area until Sunday.
He said post-mortem examinations would be conducted in the coming days.
Police said that as the case is now in court, they would not comment further.
