Three people have been killed and two others seriously injured after a train full of passengers with a car crashed into the track.

The accident occurred in Brentwood, California, USA, near the intersection of Orwood Road and Bixler Road, on Sunday, June 26 at approximately 1:00 PM local time.

There were 80 people on board the train at the time of the crash, but none were injured. The car’s occupants were injured — including a child — and were taken to a nearby hospital, ABC7News reports.
