JAK Knight, a writer and stand-up comic known for his work on Netflix and Peacock shows, has died aged 28.
The comedian is reported to have died in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

A cause of death is not yet known.
No further details have been released.
Knight was a writer on the Netflix show Big Mouth and voiced the role of Devon.
The comic also had a Netflix special that aired in 2018 as part of The Comedy Lineup series.
He also recently appeared in Bust Down on Peacock, a series he also co-created.
Fans and colleagues are stunned to learn that Knight has passed away.
A joint statement from Peacock and Universal Television – obtained by The Hollywood Reporter – reads: “We are devastated by the passing of Jak Knight.”
“He was a brilliant comedian, visionary and performer and we were all lucky enough to experience his greatness. Our hearts are with Jak’s family, friends and community at this heartbreaking time.”
Comedy Central released a statement on Twitter saying, “Jak Knight was a hysterical and honest comedian. We will miss him terribly.”
Tim Dillon, a fellow comedian, also tweeted his condolences.
“RIP to Jak Knight. We shot Netflix specials together years ago. He was an incredibly funny original voice in comedy and a great guy who will be sorely missed.”
One fan wrote a lengthy tribute on Twitter, saying she is “sad and shocked”.
“I feel very sad since she saw the news about Jak Knight,” she begins.
“When I first watched his comedy special, I felt so inspired. I had the opportunity to see him and Zack Fox perform one night in Brooklyn a few years ago — I still don’t think I’ve ever felt this hard. laughed, my stomach was in knots.
“I feel so shocked prayers for his family and friends.”
“Damn rip for Jak Knight. I saw him live once and was always so excited when everything he was involved with fell away. A great comedian and talent all around,” tweeted another fan.
