Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra have confirmed that a collaboration with British Sam Ryder is coming ‘quite soon’ and we can’t wait.

The Ukrainian act, who recently recorded Glastonbury as their very first performance in the UK, won this year’s song contest with a landslide, with Sam proud of the UK and securing second place.

So, a collaboration between the couple sounds like an absolute dream.

While rumors of a possible collaboration are circulating, Kalush Orchestra frontman Oleg Psyuk confirmed that: metro.co.uk†[We] have already discussed this with him and we are planning to release a piece of music soon.

“We want everyone to listen to it.”

Oleg remained coy with the details, adding: “It’s a secret, but make sure to follow Kalush’s official Instagram as all updates will be released there.”

Sam previously spoke of his hopes of working with Kalush Orchestra, telling Sonny Jay on Roman Kemp’s Capital Breakfast Show, “Yeah, maybe. We are chatting.

“Because the run-up to the big night takes two months – you do the pre-parties, which are really like shows, mini Eurovisions, which the fans absolutely love.

“And yes, that’s how you get to know everyone, and we’ve been chatting for a while and sharing demos and stuff like that. So watch this space. Hopefully I’d like to do something good with them, like guitar-heavy Beastie Boys, I’d think that’s sick.”

Oleg also talked about the group’s closing at Glastonbury, where they joined several other Ukrainian bands in the lineup.

“I feel a lot of responsibility because it is very important for us to show the Ukrainian culture and only the sense of responsibility is huge,” he said before the performance.

He added: ‘Our main goal is to perform well and have everyone come, make sure you come listen to our music and follow and support us.’

Oleg also urged fans in the UK: ‘Our culture is currently under attack’ [so] if you want to help, listen to our work, cultural music and follow us.’
