AAfter that thriller between New Zealand and Ireland in Wellington, the focus now shifts to Sydney, where today’s UK tour of Australia concludes with a winner-takes-all showdown, analyzed live by our Telegraph duo Brian Moore and Charlie Morgan.

There are certainly plenty of talking points for the match, with Jones controversially dropping Jack van Poortvliet and Danny Care instead to start at number 9.

Jones says Van Poortvliet’s relegation is not a reflection of his performance but he believes England will benefit from Care by taking advantage of the quick ball provided by New Zealand referee Paul Williams who closely supervises the malfunction.

Regardless of the staff, Eddie Jones’ squad needs to improve in kick exchanges, break down and get more clinical in the Australian 22 if they are to take a series win today. And Jamie George has warned England to be ready for a relentless early attack from “wounded animal” Australia when the rivals clash.

“You almost don’t have to talk about their reaction. It’s pretty obvious. If the other team is 17-0, what are you going to talk about? Better start. It doesn’t take a genius to do that out said George.

“We know they’re stepping up, but in a way we almost want that because if teams ramp it up a little bit, we tend to ramp up too. Fingers crossed.”

There’s certainly no shortage of talking points, and luckily we’ve got Brian and Charlie on hand to provide live analysis from the Telegraph Sport studios.
