She took to her TikTok page to check out her locks on “day 13 of no wash,” boasting, “I trained my hair so well.”

People in the comments section were quick to bombard Brittany with questions about how she managed to train her hair.

And she responded in another video, as she explained, “To make your hair last as long as possible until your next wash, you just have to stop washing.

“You have to go through an oily phase and then just stop washing so your hair gets used to washing less and less.”

She added that she started her training process about a year ago and can now go two weeks without washing it.

“Right now it’s day 13 of no washing and I feel a little fat, but it’s not noticeable,” she said.

Brittany also revealed that the reason she started the training process was to “make my hair color last as long as possible”.

“It’s actually better that your hair is washed as little as possible,” she continued.

“So my advice to you guys is to just stop washing, leave it on for as long as possible — say start with four days, or five days, and then wash — and then gradually reduce it.

“That’s all you have to do.”

And while Brittany does use some dry shampoo “here and there,” she added that she tries not to use it too often because it “can give you dandruff.”

“OMG! One thing I forgot to mention – NEVER use conditioner on your roots! Always just the ends,” she added in a pinned comment to the video.

“How long does the training take?” someone else asked.

“I’ve been doing this for a year and still have to wash it twice a week or you could fry an egg on my hair.”

While Brittany hasn’t responded to the comment yet, another person replied, “Doesn’t work for everyone!

“Tried to train mine for 2 years during covid, no difference.”

“I’d love to go on that long, but I’m itching because of the fat — feel like one of Roald Dahl’s witches,” added another.

“And after the workout?” someone else asked.

“I train 5 times a week and my head gets really sweaty. Would love to do this but I don’t think I could?”

“You should try blow drying your hair after the gym, maybe with some dry shampoo, but sometimes it works!” replied another woman.

“I certainly couldn’t last 13 days!”

Another comment read: “I trained my hair during the lockdown.

“It’s the best. I can go about 8-9 days. I’ll have to try and extend it!”

“That’s true! The weather helps too!” someone else wrote.

“I live in Dubai, it’s so hot here in the winter that I wash once every seven days.”
