Australian Rosalinda has uploaded a short reel showing followers the nifty hack on Instagram, where she posts with the handle @StylebyRosalinda.
Although she confessed that she was ashamed that she did not discover the trick earlier.
In the short clip, she started by cutting the end of the tube with scissors that gave full access to the tube.
Then she took the lid in the hole she had just made and put it in the tube.
Then she pushed the lid all the way down with a cotton swab so that the cream left in the container would come out.
She said, “I saw this hack online and had to try it myself. I’m a little embarrassed about the processes I used before to get the remaining product out of the tube.”
The video garnered more than 7k views and many comments from followers confirming that they had not seen the hack before.
One person said, “I hate waste, this is what I’m going to do from now on.”
While others had their own tricks, and one person said she just cut off the end of her toothpaste tube and put her brush in it.
