President Buhari has welcomed his government’s agricultural policy.
In a series of tweets shared on Friday, July 15, Buhari stated that, because of his government’s policies and investments, Nigeria is now much better prepared to deal with the inevitable disruptions in global agricultural supply chains caused by of Covid-19 and the war between Russia and Ukraine. .
He added that preparations by his government have increased rice production in Nigeria and Nigerians are now eating home-grown rice.
