Britain’s Brexit News: Theresa May Will Not Vote For Disliked Bills To “Shrink Britain” | Politics | News

Theresa May has blown up current Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his bid to invalidate the Northern Ireland Protocol.

The former Prime Minister has questioned Mr Johnson’s patriotism and questioned his intended actions.

The Northern Ireland Protocol was agreed by Mr Johnson in 2019. Johnson has agreed with the EU as part of Brexit’s trade agreement.

Ms. May argued that such actions were illegal under international law and said she would not vote on the bill.

May said: “Do you think it is illegal under international law? Do you want to achieve that goal and at least maintain Britain’s position in the eyes of the world? My answer to all three of these questions is no.”

“I’m hoping they’re telling themselves. Why they show their willingness to sign an agreement, claim it’s a victory, and the government is trying to abandon some of it within three years. Do we need to negotiate in detail with?

She may have confirmed that she will not vote for the bill: “As a patriot, I do not want to undermine this country in the eyes of the world. This bill is not legal under international law. “And it will not achieve that goal.” And it will erode Britain in the eyes of the world. “
