A LOVE Island producer is candid about the weirdest item FORBIDDEN from appearing behind the scenes of the show.
Pancho Cavaller, location manager for the ITV2 dating programme, explains that employees are not allowed to wear certain types of SHOES during work.
Speak with redditPancho revealed that Crocs are PROHIBITED for those living in the Love Island crew because they have to wear “proper shoes”.
Showing off the production booths near the villa, the venue manager – who has been with the show since its debut in 2015 – explained that there are some rules to follow.
“We’re here to work,” he said, standing in the blistering Spanish sun. “We have to wear the right shoes and the right clothes.
“The Crocs, for example – they’re not allowed here.”
Fans were left hysterical by the bizarre confession — and took to the Reddit comments section to refer to the banned shoes as “Croc Gate.”
“The crocodile is real!” one wrote, while a second caved in alongside a laughing emoji: “Spending on the crocodiles.”
“No Crocs? I’m out,” a third joked, while a fourth went in to gushed about the manager, “Pancho really has those ‘cool dad on vacation’ vibes.”
It comes after a former contestant opened up about the “crazy” items that It is FORBIDDEN for islanders to use in the villa.
Jack Keating — who was dumped from the show after Casa Amor last week — took to Instagram to spread the secret behind the scenes.
Jack, 23, who is the eldest son of singer Ronan Keating, left the villa after just a week of action on the ITV2 show.
Jack took to his Instagram Stories for an all-encompassing Q&A and told his fans about three items that islanders are not allowed to bring in.
“What was the worst thing about the villa,” one of his followers had asked, telling his fans “don’t be shy” with their questions.

“There weren’t really bad things, I loved it, but the craziest thing is I don’t have a watch, I don’t have a phone, so I don’t know what time it is,” explains Jack in a video response.
At home on his couch in a dark t-shirt and baseball cap, he continued: “It was absolutely crazy, we had some late nights and some really early mornings.”
It comes after Jack was spotted with his fellow Love Island co-stars on the airport after being dumped from the show.
As they posed together in a video on an airplane, the girls could be heard singing to the camera, “Goodbye, England.”
After reposting the airport photos, Jack told his fans: “[Love Island] was a sick experience for my first holiday abroad.”
The Casa Amor guy defended Gemma Owen, saying, “She doesn’t bully and she’s funny. Gemma’s a real one, you know.”
After returning to London, he chatted with his fans in an Instagram story, saying: “Literally just back in the UK after the craziest days at Casa Amor.
