Jacques O’Neill brands Love Island ‘worst decision of my life’ after exit

Jacques O’Neill broke his silence after running out of the Love Island villa.

The 23-year-old made headlines when he left the dating show ITV2 earlier this week, despite reconciling with Paige Thorne.

Now the former reality star has admitted that he “couldn’t handle it” in the villa in Mallorca, and that he “just wanted to go home” to “take care of myself”.

However, he says producers wanted him to stay, with a fight with a troublemaker Adam Collard looming after the bomb got closer to Paige.

The ex-rugby player said he feared things would spiral out of control and “go horribly wrong” if he didn’t walk away from the program, fearing that the situation with Adam could “get physical.”

“Doing Love Island was the worst decision of my life,” he said in an interview with The sun.

“I was ready to collapse. I felt so mentally exhausted, I just wanted to go home and recover.’

Jacques described how he would “cry my eyes out” and feel “the worst I’ve ever felt in my life.”
