Exclusive – Trump-Approved Senate Representative Markwayne Mullin: ‘This Red Wave is Real and Coming’, #Exclusive #TrumpEndorsed #Senate #Candidate #Rep #Markwayne #Mullin #Red #Wave #Real #Coming Welcome to OLASMEDIA TV NEWSThis is what we have for you today:
A red wave is coming, said Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), U.S. Senate leading candidate in Oklahoma, during an interview on Breitbart News Saturdaybecause Americans face real problems, such as inflation caused by high energy costs, spurred on by the administration of President Joe Biden dismantling American energy independence.
The former MMA fighter said he is “more than excited” to gain endorsement from former President Donald Trump, who called him “an America First Warrior.”
“You know, in Oklahoma, everyone loves President Trump,” Mullin said, adding that the approval “gives you so much more motivation” to “just put your foot down and not give up.”
“It’s not just about Oklahoma. It’s about DC trying to influence the rest of the world. Instead, we need to influence DC, which is why our fight is for the country, and he gets it,” he said, adding that Trump as president “fought for this country every day.”
Mullin, a father of six, said he runs his family with a simple principle, one that he follows himself.
“The way I’ve always lived my life and the way I try to raise our kids – a little saying that says you’ll never change anything you’re willing to tolerate. And that means we don’t complain about things, unless we get involved,” he said.
“There are plenty of things in this world to worry about. There are plenty of things in this world to do, but to sit and complain and complain just to whine and you’re not willing to do it yourself — either shut up or get involved,” said Mullin, who went to Afghanistan. with a team and worked to get Americans out during the Taliban takeover, said.
“And you cannot ignore what is happening in the country right now. You cannot ignore what happened in Afghanistan. It was clear that the president and this administration would leave the Americans behind. That’s not who we are, and that was a huge discussion,” he said, adding that they sent more than 300 Americans out and ended operations on December 5.
Now the battle is in the Senate, Mullin said, explaining what prompted him to run for the Senate.
“The president will not be able to get Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in place to pass legislation for him to sign for the next . . . two years. That’s because we’re going to take back the House in November and the Senate in November, because this red wave is real and it’s because the American people are tired of what’s happening,” Mullin said, explaining that Biden will have to rule through executive orders. , but “any person required to carry out that executive order shall be confirmed by the Senate.”
“Because they go to the head of the agencies that the Senate has confirmed and that make people accountable to the Senate and that’s where our struggle is because we have to get these… spineless bureaucrats ‘out of control’ and ‘take back the power the hands of the people – not in the hands of these bureaucrats who never leave,” Mullin said, though he noted it will be an uphill battle.
LISTEN:
In the House, Mullin said, they have two Republicans who are “more Democrats than Republicans” in Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and Liz Cheney (R-WY). But in the Senate they have Mitt Romney (R-UT), Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), the latter of whom could be “beaten”.
But the Republican Party as a whole, we’re focused on getting things done and we want to focus on what’s at the root of the problem. What’s at the root of the problem is inflation is driven by high energy costs,” Mullin said.
“I don’t understand why the president we have now can’t understand that. Or he understands that,” he said, suspecting Biden is “so afraid of his wake move that he won’t make that decision.”
“Because he knows that energy is important and we can’t go completely fossil-free in our energy sector because if he thought that was possible, he wouldn’t ask Venezuela and Saudi Arabia to increase production to try to cut costs . Yet he doesn’t have to. We could do that here in the United States because without low energy costs you can’t have lower prices because energy is the backbone of our economy,” Mullin said.
“It takes energy to produce a product and it takes energy to deliver that product, and whatever that cost is, it will be directly related to what the cost of the product is. We can be energy independent and our control our own energy costs if we implement the right policy”, he explains.
Mullin noted that several states play a role in determining the balance of power in the US Senate. The problem, however, is that the GOP majority may not be big enough to get good policy across the finish line – signed by Biden. So Republicans, he said, will have to put pressure on agencies that try to evade the will of Congress.
“If you have executive orders that make laws, that is not government of the people for the people. That is an executive that is moving towards a socialist country, and we cannot let that happen,” he added.
