Earlier x Factor winner Ben Haeow has traded the glitz and glamor of the stage for a stay-at-home dad.

The acclaimed musician won the ITV talent show in 2014 with his song Something I Need, which landed him a £1 million record deal.

Now, eight years later, Ben is the adoring father of a son, with whom he and… his wife Jessica welcome to november 2020.

While still working on a music career, Ben now spends most of his time with his young child and describes himself as a “stay at home dad.”

He told The sun: ‘I stay home a lot with the baby, so I’m a stay at home dad, which is nice, but there’s a lot of work that goes into taking care of him.’

As she got older, the star admitted that “some parts are easier than I thought they would be, and some parts are more stressful.”

His son is too young to understand his father’s celebrity status, and Ben jokes that he won’t ‘bore’ him about his career just yet – but he’s already looking forward to seeing him ‘in front of his embarrassing friends with that one’.

When asked if he and Jessica plan to expand their brood, Ben replied that “a handful is enough for now.”

However, he revealed that the pair “might be considering getting another one next year.”

Ben and Jessica married in 2017 after 14 years together; the couple in love had been together for nine years when he appeared on the show.

They married in a beautiful sun-kissed ceremony in northern Italy, with Ben admitting in an interview with Mail Online: “I cried so many tears of joy, I needed a snorkel.

“I arrived nervous and excited for the biggest day of my life and left after a fairytale wedding to the woman of my dreams.”

The star won the 2014 series after making it to the finals with boyfriend Fleur East and has since released several singles.

It’s been years since the previously massive show last aired, but if we’re to believe the rumors, it could be making its big return very soon.

Music mogul Simon Cowell is reportedly planning a revival of the singing competition, with a new series reportedly set to air in 2023.

The last edition of X Factor aired in 2018, on the air for 14 consecutive years, before two spin-off series in 2019.
