The FORMULA ONE season can be extended to 30 races with new Grand Prixs in Las Vegas and Africa.
F1 boss Stefano Domenicalic has confirmed air sports that it is a great opportunity thanks to the huge interest in the sport.
This season is a record 23 races, but rumors are circulating that Vegas could compete next season to add a third race to the US.
And Domenicali has revealed that Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and the other stars of F1 will soon be able to fly around a track in Africa as well.
Sin City last hosted an F1 Grand Prix in 1984, with South Africa last hosting a race in 1993.
The sport’s CEO and president said: “We have to balance, we have to look at the other opportunities.
“And very soon we will be telling everyone what our strategy is to develop that market.
“Besides America and China, I think there will soon be potential in Africa.
“There is a lot of interest there. That’s definitely another area that’s been missing from the geography of our calendar so far.”
The current deal between F1 and Concorde Agreement allows 24 races per season and runs until 2025.

But Domenicali added: “I think there is potential to go to 24.
“I would say there is potential to go to 30! In terms of interest, we see all over the world.
“It’s up to us to try and find the right balance, taking into account the locations that would like to be in F1, what are the historical values we need to see on the calendar.
“There are some promoters with expiring agreements and probably some of the current Grand Prixs will no longer be on the calendar.”
