YOU can visit the hotel that was thought to be the inspiration for the Disney movie Frozen – and even stay overnight.
ice hotel – which translates to Ice Hotel – is open to guests in Quebec in Canada.
Every year you can expect something different as it is rebuilt with each new season.
Inside are 24 rooms and suites, each with arctic sleeping bags, as well as on-site hot tubs and sauna.
Guests are greeted with a welcome cocktailbut upgrade to a suite for a private hot tub and fire.
In 2014, the hotel even launched a Frozen Suite that was modeled after Anna and Elsa’s rooms.
You can only visit it between January and March, due to the cold weather it takes, with rooms starting at $399.
But while you are there, there is a lot to do, such as hiking and dog sledding.
For kids there are climbing walls and even a snow fort for battles.
If you feel like you Frozen fairytale dreamyou can even rent out the hotel—and ice chapel—for your wedding, complete with horse-drawn carriage, a live violinist, and a VIP red carpet.
It’s not the only ice hotel in the world – there’s it too Snow hotel in Finland.
Or you can go to Sweden for the Ice Hotelwhich chambers are carved out of snow and ice every year.
And Frozen fans should head to Hallstatt, Austria, which looks like the fictional town of Arendelle.
The city is tucked under the Salzkammergut mountains in Austria and has been called “the most Instagrammable city in the world”.
