WE’ve all spilled things on the floor that are hard to clean up.

It may take a little elbow grease, but you can usually get the stain out eventually.

The only thing you don’t have a chance on is bleach, so when this grandma accidentally spilled some on her carpet, she had to get creative.

Posting the awkward mistake on twitter, @nightmaremodego wrote, “My grandma spilled a little bleach on her carpet the other day, so decided to go with it.”

The twitter user then posted a series of snaps in which his grandmother’s carpet looked more like a Jackson Pollock painting than a normal carpet.

Rather than accept the stain, the clever granny decided to take the rest of the bleach and spray it in a funky pattern all over the carpet.

The beige carpet, which appears to be in a bedroom, ended up having swirling white lines all over it.

However, her artful solution certainly worked out cheaper than looking for a new carpet.

The photos have been reposted on Instagram and people couldn’t believe she actually covered the floor with bleach on purpose.

One person quipped: “Now that’s a £4k carpet if you live in central London.”

Another joked: “I like it…Picasso.”

Others might tell the slap dash fix and say, “This is something I would have done 100000%.”

“Something I would do… and then moan 3 hours later,” laughed another.
