a transgender prisoner who impregnated two fellow inmates on New Jersey‘s only women’s prison has been moved to a men’s prison where she is being held in a vulnerable unit.

Demi Minor, who is serving a 30-year sentence for stabbing her former foster father to death, was transferred from Edna Mahan Correctional Facility to Garden State Youth Correctional Facility in June.

The 27-year-old minor complains that she was assaulted and abused by guards during the transfer and was even placed under suicide watch after attempting to hang herself while being transferred to GSCF.

In a post on her Justice 4 Demi blog, Minor claimed she had been targeted by correctional officers, with one of them mocking her when she asked to be searched by a woman. In a separate post, she claimed she was beaten during the transfer.

She said she was briefly held at the New Jersey State Penitentiary, where guards reportedly called her “a he” more than 30 times.

Minor’s case was publicized in April when the New Jersey Department of Corrections revealed that he had impregnated two fellow inmates at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility.

The inmate also said that while she was allowed to keep her makeup, she knows wearing it is “a death wish.”

“I have accepted that I am in a male institution, but I have not accepted, nor will I ever consent or accept that I am anything other than a woman who happens to be transgender,” Minor wrote.

In a scathing blog post, Minor accused guards of assaulting and threatening her.

Once a guard said to her, “I don’t care what you do…there’s no camera here…everyone here is a man, including you,” Minor claimed.

Minor was briefly in custody of the New Jersey State Penitentiary, where she said other incidents occurred.

‘[The department of corrections] violated my right to safety and freedom from sexual harassment by placing me in one of the most violent juvenile detention centers,” Minor wrote.

“When I lived here at GYSC, I was attacked by young inmates who are immature and just ignorant of a person like me.”

Minor pleaded guilty to manslaughter and carjacking when she appeared in a New Jersey courtroom as a 16-year-old. She is serving a 30-year prison sentence

Minor said she was removed from Edna Mahan “as punishment for what happened more than two months ago.

“They violated my right to safety and freedom from sexual harassment by putting me in one of the most violent juvenile detention centers,” she claimed.

The trans inmate said she was also attacked by “unwitting” younger inmates.

She said, “Saturday I was in the drug line when a prisoner cut in front of me and said, ‘I’m not behind no faggot’.” the prisoner[e]one spit directly in my direction.’

She accused the DOC of causing her irreparable psychological damage by exposing her to those triggering situations.

“I don’t know what it’s like to live as a man, and I refuse to ever return to such habits or behavior,” Minor wrote.

Minor also complained that the facility does not have air conditioning or cable and does not allow video visits or LGBTQ groups.

‘…yet they said I’m here for safety, no please understand I’m here for punishment, the sad thing is this punishment can kill me,’ complained Minor.

‘Mentally I haven’t been myself and I’m losing my essence. The Demi, who wants to wear makeup and chill with her friends, is not allowed here.

Minor was removed from Edna Mahan after it was found that she had impregnated two prisoners.

The 800-inmate Mahan facility began housing transgender women — including those yet to undergo gender reassignment surgery — last year after a lawsuit filed by an inmate and the ACLU. It now has 27 trans inmates.

A source familiar with the prison told DailyMail.com that cell doors remain open during recreation time, so inmates could theoretically use those periods to sneak into each other’s cells or slip into a bathroom for a quickie.

Minor was just 16 when she broke into Theotis Butts’ home in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.

Butts had taken her in as a foster child, but Minor no longer lived with him, according to a message at the time on NJ.com.

She stabbed Butts, 69, several times and then fled to New York where she was arrested.

She was also convicted of carjacking. She approached a couple — whose son was in their Pontiac Grand Prix at the time — and pointed a Glock .45 in the woman’s face. The couple removed their baby from the car before Minor drove off with it.

Minor started turning into a woman in 2020 and was transferred from the male prison system to Mahan.

Since being incarcerated, Minor has tried to turn her life around by becoming a prison lawyer of sorts, standing up for other inmates and representing her unit on the inmate liaison committee.
