Love Island brought us another episode full of drama, this time Gemma Owen and Luca Bish’s relationship broke up and we have to wonder if anyone is safe?!
Monday night’s episode brought us several tense confrontations, relationships that ended and others that barely started.
We were treated to some ‘mind reading’ from Dami Hope and saw Davide Sanclimenti continue his no-nonsense attitude towards Ekin-Su.
Let’s break it down.
Davide closes Ekin-Su reunion
This week saw former flames Davide and Ekin-Su get flirty, with fans convinced we were about to see an “enemies for lovers” storyline.
Even Ekin-Su saw it as a possibility and admitted there was still something between them—or so she thought.
Asked on tonight’s episode if there are any “unfinished business,” Davide had some cheeky words for Ekin-Su.
“No, I just feel — I don’t know. It’s not going in a romantic way,” he said, adding, “It’s expired. As if food has expired.’
Many viewers were unimpressed, some calling the comment “bad.”
Italian is meant to be the language of love, Davide!
Ekin-Su causes chaos
So if Dami tells you he’s going to read your mind, of course you say yes! But things didn’t end well for Gemma when he tried.
He told her that he thinks Luca is more into her than she is into him, and that if another boy came in who was exactly her type, her head could turn. She told him he is ‘not too far away’.
Of course, Ekin-Su, who is working overtime to bring us this series of TV gold, immediately went to Jacques O’Neill and Paige Thorne, with Jacques insisting that he tell Luca.
In fact, the news spread like wildfire, with Luca being the last to know – making him annoyed that Gemma didn’t speak to him right away.
However, Ekin-Su insisted she had done nothing wrong and said it’s too easy to blame her.
It all started in a conversation between Gemma and Ekin-Su, where Gemma accused her former boyfriend of ‘d**kheading’ and ordered her to ‘keep her nose out of other people’s business’.
Later, Gemma and Luca had a conversation, with Luca insisting that he put it off if it turns out he loves her more than him.
Their future remained uncertain after Luca insisted not to turn his head.
Jacques regrets opening
Sunday night, Jacques first saw candid about his feelings toward Paige — and he soon regretted it Monday night, when he saw her talking to Jay Younger.
It all came to a head when Jacques Paige wanted to go for a swim, and she didn’t follow him right away — leaving Jacques with a furious.
In fact, he felt sensitive after opening up to her, and he urged the others that he regretted doing so.
Paige stormed off during their conversation, while Jacques left furious, but it seems things are getting better between them.
Paige ends things with Jay
Paige got to know Jay, and Jay even picked her up at the rematch.
However, on Monday night’s episode, Paige decided she wanted to stay with Jacques — and she had to break the news to Jay.
It was a no drama conversation, with Paige admitting it was difficult for her to be so “direct,” but she’s happy with Jacques.
Jay took it well, despite having few options in the villa. Could a bomb be on its way for him soon?
Tasha is moving things forward with Andrew
When one relationship ends, another is called…
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have been struggling lately, but they seem to be on the rise after Tasha told him she’d rather focus on their romance than meet new boy Charlie Radnedge.
Of course Andrew was overjoyed, but we have no doubt that there will be more drama to come.
