FIRSTDates bartender Merlin Griffiths has revealed that he has returned to the hospital due to complications of bowel cancer.
A popular bartender shared a selfie from bed and wrote, “Oh … squibble. # Complications.”
A 47-year-old woman bravely sharing her cancer journey to raise awareness was flooded with supportive messages.
One fan said, “I’m sending you a lot of love and I hope it gets better soon xx.”
Another wrote, “Send a positive atmosphere and hope you get better. You got this! 🙌”.
The third said: “Merlin will soon get well. Think of you …”
Just two weeks ago, Merlin told Sun that he was “well done” after undergoing a major surgery in April.
Three months before being diagnosed, Merlin began to feel stomach pain.
I thought it was because of the car accident that happened when I was 20 years old.
However, after further investigation, doctors found a 4.5 cm stage 3 tumor.
For the past few weeks, Merlin has focused on getting used to the outdoors.
He also launched Royal Ascot’s first Weightless Alcohol Barless today as part of an initiative to encourage careful drinking.
Named “Jubilee Spritz,” Mocktail uses halogate sparkling water to combine a touch of lavender reminiscent of the rolling countryside of Yorkshire with a less than 0.5% non-alcoholic spirit fragrant Clean Co Clean G. Complement with a touch of fresh lemon juice. A refreshing taste.
“Heartful drinking makes a lot of sense,” Merlin said.
“I’m happy to see people like Harrogate Spring Water actually adopting this and doing it to reach a larger audience.
“Of course, health is important to me, and for now it will continue to be so for an absolutely foreseeable future.”
