Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘must apologize to the world’ after continued public complaint | Royal | News

Megan Markle and Prince Harry “Should apologize to the world, the British people and perhaps some of their own relatives” for their claims against the royal institution, a media adviser argued. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have repeatedly lashed out at the Royal Family for the alleged ill-treatment they received while working as members of the Firm. The duke further criticized his father, the king and brother, prince williamin his explosive memoir Spare, released earlier this month.

Consultant Kristi S. Hamrick included the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in her list of celebrities who should apologize for their recent behavior.

Hamrik said:Prince Harry and the harridan ie Megan Markleshould apologize to the world, the British people and perhaps some of their own relatives for turning a family feud into a money maker and dragging us through their millionaires’ misery.

“What could they possibly do for money if they got into a room with the ones in their lives — without a TV camera — and sorted it out?

“As Harry’s father is now head of the Anglican Church, a little text may be helpful.”

Writing for Fox News Digital, the media consultant added, “Like Proverbs 17:9: ‘Whoever would cherish love covers a transgression, but whoever repeats it divides good friends.’

“Making a documentary about your family and writing books about them is not an olive branch, unless by that you mean that many trees have died to spread your feelings worldwide.”

Harry and Meghan’s new life in California was the subject of a six-part Netflix docuseries in which they once again discussed the reasons behind their decision to step down as senior working royals.

The pair shared intimate self-recorded videos filmed on an airplane. The duke is heard to say, “We are on the freedom flight.”

It’s unclear if the video was shot when the couple moved to Los Angeles from their temporary home on Vancouver Island in March 2020, days after announcing they would no longer work on behalf of the Crown.

In the series, the Duke also accused palace aides of intervening to prevent the spread of negative coverage of the Prince of Wales by ‘briefing’ reporters about stories about him and Megan Markle.

He said: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth, to protect us.

“It’s a dirty game. Leaks happen, but stories also get planted. So if the communications team (communications) wants to be able to remove a negative story about their director, they’ll trade and give you something about someone else’s client.”

And Megan Markle insisted she was given no advice on how best to prepare for the demands of life as a senior member of the royal family.

She said: “When I joined this family I knew there was a protocol for how things were done, and remember that old movie The Princess Diaries with Anne Hathaway?

“There’s no class and someone saying, ‘sit down like this, cross your legs like that, use a fork, don’t do this, then take a bow, wear a hat like that’ – it’s not happening.

“I’ve never seen any photos or videos of a walkabout.”
