She said of her old boss this month: “For the Conservatives, it’s bring Boris back or die.”
So then former culture secretary Nadine Dories interviews former prime minister Boris Johnson in the first episode of her new talk show, it’s not expected to be Paxman-style grilling.
TalkTV says its weekly hour-long show Friday Night with Nadine will be an “irreverent take on the week’s news,” including “topical conversation” with guests from areas such as politics, culture and sports. The Tory MP for Mid Bedfordshire joins the likes of Pier Morgan, Jeremy Kyleand Sharon Osbourne, all of whom appear on the channel.

Miss Dorries, who was a staunch ally of Mr Johnson before his resignation last July, said: ‘As someone who has never been afraid to speak his mind, I am delighted to be joining TalkTV’s team for Friday Night with Nadine. where I will put my 23 years of political career and experiences on the dispatch bus to good use.
“Boris Johnson has continued to dominate so much of the political narrative since his departure from Number 10. Now is the time to find out what he really thinks about a range of pressing issues.” Her new TalkTV show starts Friday at 8 p.m.
