In his first public speech as Chief of General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders will warn that the UK must be ready to “act quickly” to stem Russian expansionism.

Sir Patrick’s comparison of the Russian invasion with the rise of Nazi Germany came when a rocket attack on a busy shopping center in the central city of Kremenchuk on Monday killed at least 16 civilians and injured dozens more.
