A FASHION guru has unveiled the most popular pocket trends of 2022 that you do not want to miss.
Marie Eriksson, known on social media as @loveyoumariemuch, took to Tik Tok to share her tips on what bags will be in style this summer.
In a 53-second video uploaded to her Tik Tok on Monday, Marie gave her followers some helpful advice, with the song Feel the Grove from Queens Road and Fabian Graetz playing in the background.
“Let’s talk about bag trends in 2022,” says Marie at the beginning of the footage, noting that she has not previously offered style tips regarding bags.
The first trend she mentions is “woven bags,” which she explains is not her style, but is still a popular style of summer.
The next trend, according to Marie, is “sleek, minimalist baguette bags.”
“Something like this. What I think is a timeless stacking bag,” Marie says as she points to a photo of a small black purse.
The third trend that Marie mentions is “saturated colors, like really out there bags with different textures and very bold colors.”
She maintained the bags are “definitely in this summer.”
Marie went on to tell her followers about the next popular bag, which she calls “the oversized shopping bag”.
“I personally like this a lot and in general I really like 90’s style fashion coming back,” says Marie.
“I feel they are much more portable than Y2K trends.”
The fifth and final pocket trend she’s talking about is “bags with curved lines.”
“I feel if you’re looking for something new with the high fashion vibe … this is definitely the bag trend for you.”
Fans immediately went to the comments section and praised her advice.
“Love your videos,” wrote one Tik Tok user.
In addition to handbag styles, Marie has unveiled two tricks she uses to elevate her everyday outfits – and it works for everyone.
Both of Marie’s tips are very easy and affordable for any budget, you will probably already own a number of items she proposes to add for a high-end look.
Marie says she uses these tips to pick out her daily outfits, adding that she sometimes uses only one of these tips, while at other times she can combine both.
“The more of them you wear, the more ‘dressed up’ you will look, so it really just depends on what type of vibe you go for,” advises the fashion man.
