Insider dessert enthusiast Aneta Constantinides has taken the challenge of making Ina’s beloved chocolate cake, which the famous bakery himself once said was delicious enough to “make an adult man cry.”
The dessert, also known as Beatty’s Chocolate Cake, is made up of fairly standard ingredients, except for the important addition of coffee.
The “Barefoot Contessa” star explained her famous cake in an interview with Epicurious and received the recipe from her friend Michael Grimm after she tasted it and asked to share a secret recipe. I made it clear. Beatty was Grimm’s grandmother.
