Phillip Schofield enjoyed the company of his estranged wife Stephanie at Wimbledon this week and he could not have looked happier.
The This Morning presenter has clearly maintained a close friendship with Stephanie, the mother of his two daughters, after appearing as a gay man on the ITV program in February 2020.
They may not be romantic together anymore, but Phillip (60) and Stephanie (58) still seem to be best friends.
During the first day of Wimbledon Monday, the former couple were seen sitting together in the stands and seemed to be having a great time as Phillip at one point threw his head of laughter backwards while Stephanie was in charge for complementing his glass of champagne.
The couple chatted away and laughed as they looked at something on Phillip’s phone.
They were joined by Phillip’s TV berry and This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby, who attended the match with her husband Dan Baldwin.
Despite their romantic split, Stephanie Phillip accompanied them to several high-profile events, including Adele’s one-off concert at The Palladium in London last year, while they were spotted together on a family night to celebrate their daughter Ruby’s 26th birthday in January.
Phillip opened up about his sexuality two years ago during a sincere statement on This Morning. The presenter at the time acknowledged the hurt he was inflicting on his family, which includes the two daughters he shares with Stephanie – Molly and Ruby.
Phillip spoke to viewers with Holly by his side and said, ‘This is funny, because everyone I spoke to supported you all that way.
‘Every person I say it gets a little lighter, it’s essential to me and my head, and of course I’m very aware that Steph and the girls are at home and watching this.
“There is no doubt that it caused pain and upset.”
The TV star praised his wife and continued: ‘I had to deal with this in my head for some time and as far as Steph is concerned, as I said, I can not write in any statement how I feel about that woman.
‘She’s amazing, there’s no one in my life who would have supported me the way she did. She is amazing. ‘
