On June 10, 2020, Wanda’s neighbors were unconscious with serious head injuries at her Flatwoods Road home; officers found the victim slumped on the couch and seriously injured, according to a complaint filed with the Jackson County Magistrate Court.
The police sheriff, who also reported to investigators, has so far been unable to locate the weapon. The court records also suggested the siblings had a disturbing history” and identified Daniel Palmer as a suspect early in the investigation. However, there was not enough evidence to book him until he was identified as her alleged perpetrator by his own sister.
