When a group of seven (G7) leaders gathered in Germany for a three-day summit, Vladimirputin launched a missile strike at a packed shopping center in Kremenchuk, Central Ukraine. According to Ukrainian authorities, videos posted on social media show the flames surrounding the building, and there could be hundreds of people inside the building. In his nightly speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said:[The strike on the shopping centre] It is one of the most rebellious terrorist attacks in European history.There were about 1000 people before the air alarm [inside the mall].. Fortunately, as far as we know at this point, many have managed to escape. Overnight, Ukrainian paramedics said the attack killed at least 16 people and injured 59. Looking at the NATO Summit in Spain, the summit ends today.
The G7 has responded to this attack. “As G7 leaders, we solemnly condemn the abominable attack on the Kremenchuk shopping center. We are standing together with Ukraine to mourn the innocent victims of this brutal attack. ..
“Indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians constitute war crimes. [Vladimir] Putin and his manager will be held accountable. “
