Two dead and 11 people taken to hospital after a pickup truck hits a group of cyclists in ‘major accident’ in Arizona

Two cyclists were killed and 11 seriously injured after a pickup truck drove into them Arizona motorway.
Police responded to the scene around 8 a.m. Saturday where they received a report of several injured cyclists on Cotton Lane Bridge.
The pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Good Year police declined to comment when the driver was arrested.
A female cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and a male cyclist died at a local hospital. The other cyclists were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the deceased or other victims.
It is not clear what led to the crash. Multiple closures were reported as a result.
