Coronation Street spoilers: Daisy fights back against ailing stalker Justin | Soaps

It started with unwanted flower deliveries coronation street, but soon Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) discovered she was being targeted by a stalker.

Justin (Andrew Still) was someone she met briefly at the hospital and was nice to, but for him that was enough to make him cling to her delusionally that they are in a relationship.

Charlotte Jordan told us about it the effect this has on Daisy.

“She’s just always tense,” she said. “She’s constantly looking over her shoulder, she never knows where he’ll show up. He is totally delusional and believes they are in this loving relationship and Daniel (Rob Mallard) is somehow an obstacle for them.

“She doesn’t know how far that delusion will go and she doesn’t know how dangerous that will make him in the long run and she doesn’t know what will tip him over the edge. It’s just a really scary situation for her to be in.”

Daisy finally manages to take control of the situation in the upcoming episodes when she opens up to Maria (Samia Longchambon) – who experienced something similar last year after she was cheated online and fell victim to a fake porn movie.

When Daisy’s hairdresser cancels her wedding booking, Daisy is unimpressed with Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews)’s suggestion to use Maria, saying she is old and out of touch.

Maria is clearly offended by this, but as Daisy’s phone continues to ping with messages from Justin, Maria’s anger subsides and she talks to Daisy about her experiences from last year.

With Maria’s support, Daisy decides to go to the police and is encouraged when she is heard for a curfew protection order.

Could Daisy’s ordeal be about to end?
