Victoria Beckham comes under fire from a famous Spanish chef for causing him grief celebrity wedding with her ‘complicated’ dinner requirements.

Three Michelin star chef Dani Garcia, 46, claimed the Spice Girl “changed the whole menu” when former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos tied the knot with his model and TV host, wife Pilar Rubio in Spain in 2019.

Dani recalled how Victoria carried coconut water “all the time” as well as bowls of mints, calling the habits “strange” in a new interview.

Speaking of what it was like to cook for the fashion designer, 48, at the June 2019 wedding banquet near Seville, Dani told Spanish TV on Monday evening: ‘It was very strange. Victoria Beckham changed the whole menu.

“It was very sad, because when you put in such an effort, not only me and my team, but also the bride and groom and everyone else have put together a unique menu.

“Her’s was completely different and based only on vegetables. And then there were some strange things that I’ve never seen in my life.

“She had coconut water all the time, a bowl of mints and on the other side hydroalcoholic gel which is very famous now, but not then because the Covid pandemic hadn’t started yet.

A source close to Victoria, who questioned Dani’s version of events, said: ‘This is a great story, but it’s not fair or accurate.

Dani, who got his first Michelin star when he was just 25, made his comments about Victoria on a popular evening show called El Hormiguero, which has hosted Justin Bieber and Will Smith regularly over the years.

It is one of the most watched prime time programs in Spain in its evening slot on the Antena 3 channel with approximately 2.5 million viewers.

Victoria’s ‘strange’ eating habits have been the subject of intense research for years.
