HOLIDAY flirts get hot and steamy four times faster than regular dates, research has revealed.
Half of the couples who meet on vacation — both in the UK and abroad — romp right after their first date, a poll shows.
It usually takes an average of four dates for new partners to become intimate in their normal, day-to-day lives.
More than six in ten respondents said they are more open to sex on vacation because they felt free to go for it.
Jessica Leoni, of the dating site Illicitencounters who surveyed 1,000 adults, said: “People have a real ‘seize the moment’ attitude when they’re on vacation and they commit sexually much faster than at home.
“Looks like the sun and new surroundings are intoxicating and the shackles are loosening.”
Have sex with someone after meeting at a nightclub requires two dates, versus three for a meeting on a dating site.
Blind dates lasted four dates, the gym included six — but getting steamy with a colleague at work involved seven rendezvous.
