Nintendo has debuted a new trailer for Return to Monkey Island with today’s Partner Direct.
Coming at an unspecified time later this year, Return to Monkey Island is the first new entry in the beloved adventure game series since 2009 (some remakes not included).
The trailer shown above is the first time I’ve seen franchise hero Guy Brush Sleepwood in a new game. There will also be familiar characters like Stan, Wally, and Voodoo Lady. Also, Guybrush’s romantic interest, Elaine, seems to be playable for the first time.
Return to Monkey Island will make its console debut on Switch, but will be released later for other users.
