Thinks Liverpool legend Michael Owen Graham Potter could participate Leicester — just hours after he was fired by Chelsea.

Potter was shockingly fired on Sunday nightless than seven months after joining Chelsea from Brighton, after a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday left the Blues in the bottom half of the table.

But he wasn’t the only Premier League manager to get the boot on Sunday Brendan Rodgers leaves Leicester by mutual consent with the Foxes in the relegation zone.

A 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday – where they threw away the lead and lost in the 94th minute – ended the Northern Ireland manager’s usually successful four-year reign at the club.

Rafael Benitez and Thomas Frank initially emerged as the front-runners to take over the King Power, but after the later events of the day, Potter now appears to be in pole position to replace Rodgers.

According to multiple reports, Leicester have had an interest in Potter for some time, particularly following his success at Brighton.

For example, Owen thinks it could happen, while also tipping Rodgers to make a sensational move to Stamford Bridge.

The legendary striker posted on social media: ‘It’s sack season in the Premier League.

“You could argue that Rodgers goes to Chelsea and Potter goes to Leicester.”

Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly Todd Boehly’s number 1 target to replace Potter, but the former Bayern Munich boss isn’t keen on taking on a new job so soon after leaving the Allianz Arena.

The German was shockingly sacked during the international break and replaced by the man who replaced Potter at Chelsea: Thomas Tuchel.

meanwhile have The Blues confirmed that Bruno Saltor will take charge of the squad for Tuesday night’s home game against Liverpool.
