CORONATION Street star Tina O’Brien has shocked fans by revealing her age.
The actress played Sarah Platt since 1999, after she joined the ITV soap at the age of 16.

Ahead of her 40th birthday, Tina shared new photos of her photos with her Instagram followers — and fans couldn’t believe her age.
“I’m turning 40 this year,” she wrote.
“Decided it was time to update my seriously outdated Portraits for Spotlight.
“A huge thank you to @neilson_photo_actors, I’m over the moon with them.
“I was quite nervous going into the shoot, it’s been a long time since I’ve done something like this.
“Colin is such a sweet, warm, chatty man. He put me at ease from the moment I met him, really felt like I’ve known him for years!!
“This isn’t an ad, I’m just super pleased. Thank you so much Colin, you really understand what an actor is looking for in their portrait shot and I think your lighting is just heavenly.”
Her former Coronation Street co-star Catherine Tyldesley commented, “Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! gorgeous xxxxx.”
Brooke Vincent added, “Still look 21.”
Jane Danson wrote, “Absolutely gorgeous T. Maybe it’s about time I did mine! I’m 45 this year and mine is a 23-year-old me in black and white.”
One fan commented, “You literally look in your twenties.”
“Tina, you don’t look 40 at all, you look so young,” said another.
Someone else wrote, “Omg 40 you look like 25!!! Seriously.”
Tina was half of it soap’s hottest couples on and off screen with Ryan Thomas when they fell in love with the cobbles 19 years ago.
After six years together, they have sadly split – with sources claiming the relationship has become “troubled”.
Their surprise breakup in 2009 came just a year after they had a baby together.
Since then, the soap stars have co-parented their 13-year-old daughter, Scarlett – who landed her first soap role on Waterloo Road.
