Who is Aura Senprice, the mother of Serena and Venus Williams?
Oracene Price, nicknamed “Brandy,” was born on April 3, 1952 and grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, USA.
After graduating from Buena Vista High School in 1970, Price earned a degree in Nursing from Western Michigan University.
While working as a nurse, Olasen married Richard Williams, and his ex-girlfriends had Venus and Serena, giving birth to Richard’s tennis coaching career.
After that, they decided to move to Florida as a family. In Florida, tennis icon Rick Macci has offered to help teach the legendary sisters for free.
However, in 2000, Price decided to live without her husband due to the reported irreconcilable differences and divorced two years later.

Price believes she is underestimated as a coach because of her primary role as a mother.
Olasen reportedly taught himself how to play tennis so that his daughters could show the technical side of the game.

On November 17, 2021, Serena sat down at Red Table Talk and talked about her family, revealing that they would not have survived without Price.
“She had to support seven people as a family of seven,” Serena said. “To have that faith and get that back-end support, she wouldn’t have survived without it.” I added.
Venus then repeated her sister’s comments on her website. ..
