The cheapest cars to insure in the UK are known in different types.
The data is based on May 2022 and the categories include the best cars for new drivers, young drivers, families, sports car fans, and anyone who wants to use electricity.
Based on Admiral Insurance premiums, the study found that geographically, the average annual premium for UK car insurance in May was £ 574.
Scottish drivers get the highest value premium, 13% cheaper than the UK average and cost £ 497 a year.
