Fans of the ITV have been soap convinced that there is more going on GP receptionist than it seems at first glance since arriving in the Dales at the beginning of this year.

In recent weeks, Ella's behavior has aroused even more suspicion, and will continue to do so in the future Emmerdale scenes, viewers will finally find out what's going on.

However, not everything is revealed, as the character appears to have several big secrets.

In the episodes in question, Ella panics when Liam – who she's just getting started to date – suggests staying at her house.

She manages to reject his offer, but later, on the outskirts of the village, viewers will see Ella sleeping in her car, with no apparent permanent residence.

The next one In the morning, Ella is found sleeping in her car by colleague Manpreet Sharma during her morning run.

Embarrassed, Ella begs Manpreet not to tell Liam, but she is left furious when Manpreet later awkwardly admits to Liam that she found Ella sleeping in her car.

After some discussion, Liam suggests that she temporarily move into the guest room at Tenants and Ella agrees.

Later, Mandy inquires about Ella's family as she moves her things into the house.

When Ella sees an old photo in Mandy's hands, she snaps at her, confusing Mandy.

As they adjust to living together, Ella and Liam navigate their relationship.

Liam is also stunned when Ella refuses to let the photographer take a photo and runs away.

Out in the beer garden, Mandy advises Liam to make sure Ella doesn't have any skeletons in the closet before things get serious between them.

Ella is shocked by Liam's intrusive questions, and quickly darts out of the house.

Later, Ella visits a nursing home… but who is she there for?
