TL; DR

Apple sparked controversy from some quarters after releasing a iPad ad on which musical instruments and other creative tools are crushed by a hydraulic press. The hydraulic press was finally lifted to reveal an iPad Pro.

Samsung has now fired back at Apple with its criticism Undo video ad, posted on X and seen above. The ad shows a woman picking up a damaged guitar and playing it while using a guitar Galaxy Tab S9 series device to follow the music.

“We would never crush creativity,” reads the accompanying text description.

Samsung will have to do more than just place a sharp advertisement if it wants to steal market share from Apple in the tablet field. According to Apple, Apple will be the largest tablet player worldwide by 2023 Channels, accounting for 40% of the market, compared to Samsung's 19%. These figures were virtually identical to the previous year.

Apple's recently launched iPad Air and Pro models are also expected to be joined by new standard iPads later this year. Samsung will undoubtedly have its hands full in 2024 taking market share from the Cupertino company.
