“There is a great desire for more sovereign AIs. Every country will want to do that, and India is a superpower. It has a great economy, it's growing rapidly, and we're certainly seeing aggressive investment there,” the Dell founder said, speaking to reporters at the Dell Technologies World event in Las Vegas on Monday.

Like many companies, Dell also applies a whole process around the responsible use of AI, according to the CEO of the technology company.
He added that Dell has put in place governance models through which every AI project is filtered. “We control the model, we are responsible for it. Our responsible AI strategy is taking effect and we are undergoing many rigorous checks to ensure safeguards are in place.”
Dell believes that AI applications will eventually be as broad as the Internet and ubiquitous like the Internet and electricity. “The early movers are making huge bets… we are at the dawn of the new industrial revolution.”
The director added that AI in the wrong hands and with the wrong resources poses a powerful threat. “AI must be trained within the boundaries of our morality, beliefs, laws and our humanity, because AI will ultimately be central to all of our lives.”
“How much good AI can do is really up to all of us. We unleash this super-genius power. Everyone will have access to this technology and it will become smarter and more powerful,” he said.

“The opportunity for these large infrastructures has completely reinvented computing as we know it. The whole computer stack has changed now. Instead of human engineering applications and programs written by humans, we will now have the same people cobbling together or assembling AI teams now,” Huang said.
